Relax as you walk our 6 acres, abounding with perennial gardens, lilacs, fruit trees, raspberry and blueberry bushes.

Take time to visit the historic childhood home of President Franklin Pierce, quaint Hillsborough Center, and the shop of a well-known pewter smith.

For the shopper, there is an abundance of gift shops, antique shops, and local auctions that offer something for everyone.

In the spring, take a drive to a nearby maple sugar house, or later in the spring, enjoy the beauty and fragrance of our 100 lilacs of astounding variety.

Summer brings swimming, hot air balloon rides, bird-watching and lemonade in the afternoon.

During the fall, New Hampshire's famous picturesque foliage surrounds us. Enjoy a leisurely drive, and return for a hot mulled cider.


In the winter snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing are exhilarating ways to see the countryside, right from our farm. Downhill ski areas are nearby. Rejuvenate in the after-noon with a pot of fresh tea and confections served near a warm fire.

Enjoy a relaxing massage in your room by a local licensed therapeutic massage therapist. (by appointment only)
